Christmas Cards - 2010

These are the cards from the Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack one of my downline and I hosted on November 8th.

I had fun in everyones company, and so did they. We had Christmas music and door prizes.

Simply Amazing! November 15-30 - 50% Off Starter Kit

WOW! This is a first that I’ve seen from Stampin’ Up! in the 5-1/2 years I’ve been a demonstrator.
From November 15 through November 30, 2010 you can become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator when you purchase the Standard, or Digital+ Starter Kits for only $87.50--that is 50 percent off the regular price of $175 (plus FREE shipping) for over $310 worth of paper or digital crafting and business supplies! (see attached PDF for what is included in each kit)

I did the math. In just stampin’ supplies (not including the business products in the kit) the merchandise you are getting would cost you $211 (plus 10% shipping and tax = $249.50). So you are getting a 59% savings just in product (65% off of the $249.50). You sure can’t beat that. Join just to get the all the great products. Then, get your scrappin’ buddies to place orders with you each month, and it will be a win-win for all.

Promotion Deadlines:
  • Paper Independent Demonstrator Agreements (IDAs) must be received no later than Tuesday, November 30, 2010; 6:50 PM (MT) – Suggest mailing right away, or overnight, since this is such a short promotion.
  • Online IDAs must be submitted by Tuesday, November 30, 2010; 11:50 PM (MT) - I suggest doing online, because it is instantly at Stampin' Up!
Promotion Details:
  • The Simply Amazing Recruiting Promotion lasts from November 15 through November 30, 2010.
  • Both the Standard Starter Kit and the Digital+ Kit are available at 50 percent off the regular kit. These are full starter kits, not mini or reduced-content kits.
  • Recruits can still add the Stampin' Memories or Digital+ Add-On and will pay the regular add-on price.
  • Recruits who join during the Simply Amazing Recruiting Promotion are still eligible for any programs available to a new recruit. This includes but is not limited to the extra 10 percent Instant Income offer, Stampin' Start, the opportunity to purchase a Business Booster Kit, and a free two-month Demonstrator Business Web Services (DBWS) subscription.
  • Any new recruit who signs up during the Simply Amazing Recruiting Promotion will receive 50 percent off the Starter Kit.
Things to Remember:

Designer Series Paper Share

I am going to be putting together some product packages. These will help you get your hands on more styles of things without having to spend a fortune.

The first product share I have is for the Designer Series Paper (DSP).

There are 16 packages of brand new DSP – 12 packages of regular DSP and 4 packages of Specialty DSP (that has gloss, flocking, or special shape). If you were to order all 16 packages, it would cost you just under $200.00.

I’m will order them all and cut each package into 6x6 squares. You will get a total of 96 squares - one square of each design, from each package of DSP. The squares each person gets will not all be identical because of the patterns of the DSP, but it is still going to be an awesome way to get your hands on all the new papers without breaking the bank.

The cost will be $27.00, which includes USPS priority mail shipping cost*. The turnaround time for the packages will probably be a couple weeks at the most, as I will need to order them, get them in, cut and packaged, and off to the Post Office. I will let you know if there are any back orders that will delay my shipping to you, as only full orders will be shipped.

If you are interested in ordering a DSP Product Share let me know NLT August 15th. You can order more than one share if you want. You can pay with a check (drop in the mail within a day or two) or you can use PayPal. Find the Pay Pal button to order your shares and pay.

Drop me an email at
stargazer56@mchsi.com if you have any questions, and to reserve your DSP Product Share.

I will be putting together other packages, and will let you know when I’m ready to start taking orders for them.I’m only shipping within the United States.

*If you live in the Quad-Cities and want to pick up your DSP Product Share, let me know. The cost will be $22.00 instead.

24 HOURS LEFT - Stampin' Up! Rejoin Special only $35

WOW. Are you a past Stampin' Up! Demonstrator? Did you give up your demonstratorship for reasons that no longer exist? Well you have just a couple more days to rejoin for ONLY $35. You just can't beat that. You probably still have some supplies that you can still use. You still only need to spend $300 per quarter (or $100 per month) to maintain. I'm sure you have a couple friends that share your enjoyment of scrapbooking or card making, or just crafting.

Remember the reason you first joined - to get that 20 percent discount on products, get stamp sets and accessories, and new catalogs one month before released to customers. Have the opportunity to attend Regional Events, or the Annual Convention each July in Salt Lake City, UT. I've gone to convention once and can't wait to go again. What an uplifting experience...woohoo!

To rejoin Stampin' Up!, former demonstrators only need to purchase the Rejoin Starter Kit and sign and complete a new Independent Demonstrator Application and Agreement. The Rejoin Starter Kit Contains:

  • 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog (8)
  • 2010 Summer Mini Catalog (8)
  • Guest invitation postcards (100)
  • Customer order forms (50)
  • 2010-2011 Definitely Decorative catalog (1)
  • Celebrando Creatividad (1)
  • Two months free Demonstrator Business Web Services (DBWS) subscription

Former demonstrators will already have the stamping supplies they need, so, in order to keep the price so low, the Rejoin Starter Kit contains the bare essentials to help them get their businesses back up and running.

Details to Remember:

  • This offer is available to all former demonstrators*, however Stampin' Up! will only contact dropped demonstrators from the last three years.
  • This kit does not include any Stampin' Up! products.
Rejoin Starter Kit payment must be made by the new recruit, and not the upline.
  • Former demonstrators may add either or both of the optional add-ons to their starter kit. (See starter kit form for add-on contents.)
  • At this point the Rejoin Starter Kit, Independant Demonstrator Starter Kit order and Independent Demonstrator Application and Agreements will have to be faxed to Stampin' Up! by Friday, July 30, 5:00 pm CST.
  • *Only demonstrators who resigned on or before March 31, 2010, are eligible for this offer.

So to rejoin, download and print these three forms: Independant Demonstrator Agreement, Independant Demonstrator Application, and Rejoin Starter Kit Order Form. Then contact me so I can fill out and sign the portion as your upline. These forms will have to be faxed to Stampin' Up! by 5:00 PM CST, Friday, July 30th. Then the original forms will have to be mailed or FEDEXd to be received at Stampin' Up! by Friday, August 6th.

HURRY to take advantage of this great special.

The New Catalog is FINALLY HERE!

The new catalog has finally arrived. It is chocked full of great new items, new colors, redesigned punches, new ribbon, and new In-Colors. You now have a choice of a wood mount or clear mount stamp set when purchasing stamp sets that are new to the catalog. Returning stamp sets are still only available as wood mount.

As you know, many colors were retired, but many new colors were added. Also some of the most popular In-Colors from prior catalogs were brought back as Stampin' Up!s core colors. The color families have been redisigned into BRIGHTS, SUBTLES, RICH, and NEUTRALS COLLECTIONS. There are also five (5) new In-Colors that will be available for TWO years/catalogs

I hope you are all as excited as I am about the new catalog and new colors. Look for kits you can purchase to get the new colors in card stock, markers, and stamp pads. Coming in another posting.

Thanks for looking. See you later...

Color Renovation

Stampin' Up! is renovating their Colors. The below colors we will bid a "Fond Farewell" at the end of the current catalog year (June 30, 2010). Many colors are already getting limited, so if you love any of these retirinig colors, don't wait to get them.

The new color lineup brings back some current/former In-Colors - Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, River Rock, Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, and Wild Wasabi. It renames Kraft to Crumb Cake. Then adds FIVE new colors - Daffodil Delight, Early Expresso, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and Marina Mist. We end up with four color families - Brights, Neutrals, Regals, and Subtles. Each color family now has only 10 colors, for a total of 40 regular colors (previously 48 colors in addition to the neutrals). These new colors will be available when the new catalog is released in July.

Again, if there are some of the retiring colors that you really like, now is the time to stock up on the card stock, re-inkers, and markers before they sell out.

To get any of the retiring colors, items from the new Summer Mini Catalog, or any product, remember you can order on-line 24/7, from my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website - just click SHOP NOW in the upper right hand corner and select me as your demonstrator. If you prefer, you can contact me to place your order.

Simply Pansies

The focal point of this card is not from a stamp set, rather from Stampin' Up!s Butterfly Punch which is used to create these pansies. You can view a video of the technique here created by Dawn Olchefske.

Each flower is unique, no two turn out the same. So you don't have to worry about doing something wrong, it just makes it uniquely yours. Below are the first few I made after watching the video. Don't they look like I just picked them from my yard?

If you'd like to make some pansies, you can purchase the Butterfly Punch, Item No 116629, $15.95, on-line 24/7, from my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website - just click SHOP NOW in the upper right hand corner and select me as your demonstrator. If you prefer, you can contact me to place your order.

Thanks for looking.

Elements of Style

I just love this stamp set from the new Summer Mini Catalog. It is very elegant. It is stamped with Black on Very Vanilla card stock. I stamped the floral image a second time and used the 1-1/4" Circle Punch to punch out one of the flowers, which I then water colored. Punched out a Black 1-3/8" circle and layered under the color image. I then adhered to the card to accentuate one part of the larger floral image.

Doesn't it just make the image "POP"? O finished it all off with our Black Satin Ribbon.

So if you'd like to purchase the Elements of Style Stamp Set or any other items, you can order, on-line 24/7, from my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website. Just click SHOP NOW in the upper right hand corner and select me as your demonstrator. If you prefer, you can contact me to place your order.

Happy Stamping...

Sorry I've been away

Sorry for the long absence. I have no excuse, but that for awhile, that I was sick with bronchitis which took a lot out of me, and I had no desire to keep up my blog.

I'll be taking some time, in the next few days, to post some of my recent cards and hope you will enjoy them.

Also I'll be posting current specials and news from Stampin' Up!

Thanks for stopping.

CAUTION: Opening Could Cause Extreme Excitement

WOW! WOW!! WOWIE!!! Did I say WOW???

I just received my first order of the new year. It has my Occasions Mini and Sale-A-Bration items in it. It's so exciting when my "Brown Man" leaves a present on my doorstep.

Did you see my EXCITEMENT from above?

See, see what was on the top of the box:
"CAUTION: opening box may cause extreme excitement"

OK, the box is open. Can't see my items yet, just all this packing materiel. Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining, because it is protecting all my new "toys" and goodies, hidden just below all that packing...

Oh look, there they are, peeking their little heads out of the box. Can you hear them?

"We're in our new home...see the light! We've been stuffed, plunged into darkness, jossled, loaded, unloaded, loaded and unloaded again. It's so cold out, we nearly froze our item numbers off. Ah, we're in our new home. Look, there's our SU demonstrator looking down at us. What a wonderful sight."

Here's my little darlings all unpacked and on display for all to see.

Circle Scissor and Glass Mat; DSP; wood mound stamps; new clear mound stamps; new satin ribbon (ask about my Ribbon Share); new style punches; felt flowers; and last but not least - new sizzlits and embossing folder.

Most everything here is from the Occasions and SAB mini catalogs.

Hope you enjoyed my theatrics above.

You can order, on-line 24/7, from my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website - just click SHOP NOW in the upper right hand corner, and select me to be your demonstrator. If you prefer, you can contact me to place your order.
