Christmas is Over

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with their families. I celebrated with my immediate family Christmas Eve. Went to my sons house - their first Christmas in their new home. Christmas Day was just my Mom and I at my house. Tomorrow will be going to my Brother-in-laws house.

Overnight we had freezing rain, so everything is glazed over and icy this morning. The temp is on the rise though, and it's supposed to be in the lower 40's. The side streets are very slushy. My driveway is still covered with the ice from the last two storms - which has now turned to slush also. I've got to give my shoulder a rest for a day. Between shoveling at my Mom's house and mine, my shoulder is getting a real work out. I'll be starting some therapy for it next week. Where is it sore, the orthpedic doctor said is coming from my rotator cuff. Don't want surgery, so hope therapy helps. I digress. Back to todays weather. We are supposed to have some heavy rain this evening/overnight. Hoping that between the warmer weather and some rain, that helps melt the snow and ice on the roads, driveways, & sidewalks.

I've added some more Stampin' Up! specials. See the bar on the right and check them out. Contact me if you have questions about any specials, holding an in-home party, placing an order, or about becoming a demonstrator your self and the benefits you earn.

Bye for now.

My First Post

Wow, I did it! Didn't think I would every have a blog. I'm not much of a writer, so you probably won't see daily postings -- maybe not even weekly. We'll see as time goes on.

On the personal side, next month I'll be having my Kitchen and Bath's remodeled. That is a BIG project. I'll post photos as the project progresses.

I'll keep the Stampin' Up! specials up-to-date, over on the right-hand side of my blog. I'll eventually be posting pictures of cards and other projects that I do.

Well, Thursday we had it all, weather wise that is. Sleet, freezing rain, and snow. Luckily we didn't have enough freezing rain for downed powerlines or power outages. I do have about 1/2" of frozen stuff on my driveway that the snowthrower just didn't get. I got the ice off my sidewalk before my "handy dandy" ice chopper bit the dust. Now I have to go buy another one. Hope the stores still have some in stock.

Today is snowing again, only 1 to 2 inches were predicted. I've already had 2+ inches today. At least it is light and fluffy, not wet and heavy. Tonight and tomorrow we are to have bitterly cold weather. Actual temp of only 3 degrees F and windchills of -20 to -30 degrees below zero F.

I finished wrapping Christmas presents this afternoon. Glad that's done. Hope everyone out there has their shopping done.

Well, that's my first post. Everyone stay safe and warm. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all.
