Color Renovation

Stampin' Up! is renovating their Colors. The below colors we will bid a "Fond Farewell" at the end of the current catalog year (June 30, 2010). Many colors are already getting limited, so if you love any of these retirinig colors, don't wait to get them.

The new color lineup brings back some current/former In-Colors - Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, River Rock, Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, and Wild Wasabi. It renames Kraft to Crumb Cake. Then adds FIVE new colors - Daffodil Delight, Early Expresso, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and Marina Mist. We end up with four color families - Brights, Neutrals, Regals, and Subtles. Each color family now has only 10 colors, for a total of 40 regular colors (previously 48 colors in addition to the neutrals). These new colors will be available when the new catalog is released in July.

Again, if there are some of the retiring colors that you really like, now is the time to stock up on the card stock, re-inkers, and markers before they sell out.

To get any of the retiring colors, items from the new Summer Mini Catalog, or any product, remember you can order on-line 24/7, from my Stampin' Up! Simply Pansies

The focal point of this card is not from a stamp set, rather from Stampin' Up!s Butterfly Punch which is used to create these pansies. You can view a video of the technique here created by Dawn Olchefske.

Each flower is unique, no two turn out the same. So you don't have to worry about doing something wrong, it just makes it uniquely yours. Below are the first few I made after watching the video. Don't they look like I just picked them from my yard?

If you'd like to make some pansies, you can purchase the Butterfly Punch, Item No 116629, $15.95, on-line 24/7, from my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website - just click SHOP NOW in the upper right hand corner and select me as your demonstrator. If you prefer, you can contact me to place your order.

Thanks for looking.

Elements of Style

I just love this stamp set from the new Summer Mini Catalog. It is very elegant. It is stamped with Black on Very Vanilla card stock. I stamped the floral image a second time and used the 1-1/4" Circle Punch to punch out one of the flowers, which I then water colored. Punched out a Black 1-3/8" circle and layered under the color image. I then adhered to the card to accentuate one part of the larger floral image.

Doesn't it just make the image "POP"? O finished it all off with our Black Satin Ribbon.

So if you'd like to purchase the Elements of Style Stamp Set or any other items, you can order, on-line 24/7, from my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website. Just click SHOP NOW in the upper right hand corner and select me as your demonstrator. If you prefer, you can contact me to place your order.

Happy Stamping...

Sorry I've been away

Sorry for the long absence. I have no excuse, but that for awhile, that I was sick with bronchitis which took a lot out of me, and I had no desire to keep up my blog.

I'll be taking some time, in the next few days, to post some of my recent cards and hope you will enjoy them.

Also I'll be posting current specials and news from Stampin' Up!

Thanks for stopping.
