Christmas Card using Frost White Shimmer Paint

Just wanted to do a quick post of another Christmas Card. It uses Stampin' Up! Textured Impressions Folder - Petals a Plenty and your Stampin' Up! Sizzix machine. I then used a Stampin Sponge and our new Frost White Shimmer Paint and just went over the embossed image with the shimmer paint. You can see it in the picture.

The cardstock used is Whisper White (embossed), Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, & Shimmery White. The stamp set is Serene Snowflakes from the Holiday 2009 Mini Catalog.

You can purchase the Serene Snowflakes stamp set (115438, $20.95), and Frost White Shimmer Paint (116854, $5.95) from the Holiday 2009 Mini Catalog until January 4, 2010. I'm hoping the Shimmer Paint will continue to be available in future catalogs.

TIP: You can use a small spray bottle (approx 2 oz). Put a couple drops of the shimmer paint in and fill half way (1 oz) with plain rubbing alcohol. Shake well, befure spraying on your projects. You will get a wonderful shimmer to your project, and because it uses alcohol, it will dry quickly. Want more noticable shimmer, then add another drop or two of shimmer paint. Customize the way you want. It is much more economical to make your own "shimmer mist" than buying the water based spray mists available elsewhere. Remember there is also Champaign Mist (golden tone) and Platinum (silvery) available. Use alone, or combine. The possibilities are endless. Remember to label your bottles.

You can order these or any items from current catalogs, on-line 24/7, from my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website - just click SHOP NOW in the upper right hand corner, and select me to be your demonstrator. If you prefer, you can contact me to place your order.
